Vessel Design

Design and analysis of both ASME Section VIII Division 1 & Division 2 pressure vessels. We have experience designing jacketed vessels for cryogenic service, high pressure (up to 10,000 psig), steam service, corrosive service, and a variety of other non-corrosive, ambient temperature services.

API-510 Compliant Vessel Re-Certification

AES has qualified personnel to perform vessel inspections and re-rating/re-certification in accordance with API 510 requirements. We can also prepare detailed inspection documentation, reports, and drawings.

Nuclear

AES has experience in the design and refurbishment of nuclear shielded areas, cubicles, and cells. We also have the experience in the design and installation of remotely operated equipment in and out of shielded areas, H & V systems, Glove boxes, and fire protection within nuclear facilities.

Mechanical Engineering

AES has the ability to specify and select mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, and valves. To assist in the design of ASME B31.1 & B31.3 piping design, AES has the capability to design and analyze pipe supports, as well as specification of insulation and pipe coating systems. We are also able to prepare a wide variety of technical specifications and drawings for the procurement, fabrication, and and field installation of mechanical components.

Analytic Capabilities

Using the latest analysis software, AES has the ability to perform detailed Finite Element, Structural, and Thermal analysis. AES can analyze structural steel, piping, vessels, and mechanical components.

Civil-Structural Engineering

AES can design and perform analysis of concrete foundations, slabs, and other concrete structures in accordance with ACI 318. We also perform design and analysis of steel structures in accordance with AISC requirements.
