Selection & specification of instrumentation, design of control systems including programmable logic controllers (PLC's), troubleshooting & upgrading of instrumentation, control & data acquisition systems, specification of supervisory control & data acquisition (SCADA) systems, human-machine interface studies & recommendations, automation of existing manual systems.
- Selection and specification of individual instrument for measurement of thermal, pressure, flow, and process elements
- Experience with a wide range of process fluids, conditions, and extremes, including cryogens, steam, corrosives, fuels, and hydrocarbons
- Selection of control systems with integrated feedback capability
- Design of Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) for the storage and retrieval of process measurements and data
- Prepare specifications for the procurement and installation of individual instruments, control systems and DAS
