Professional Engineering Services Schedule

Clients throughout the government can obtain services from AES, Inc., using the GSA Schedule - a competitively awarded schedule contract with fixed labor rates that is available to all Federal Agencies and their approved contractors.

The GSA Schedule features a simplified, streamlined procurement process:

   • Task orders flow directly from agency to contractor.
   • Clients can use their own contracts office.
   • GSA fixed labor rates have already been determined to be "fair and  reasonable".

Type of Contract:

   • Time and materials / Firm fixed-price orders

Period of Performance:

   • August 23, 2002 through August 22, 2012

Eligible Users and Sites:

Services can be provided in the United States and Puerto Rico for these users:

   • Executive and other Federal Agencies
   • Authorized government contractors
   • The District of Columbia
   • Mixed-ownership government corporations
   • Other activities authorized by statute or regulation

Scope:

Applied Engineering Services, Inc., is authorized to perform Professional Engineering services in the following Special Item Number (SIN) categories:

   • SIN 871-2 Concept Development and Requirements Analysis
   • SIN 871-3 Systems Design, Engineering and Integration

Engineering Disciplines include Mechanical, Civil and Electrical

Using the GSA Schedule:

   • Develop a scope of work
   • Provide the scope of work and funding documentation to your procurement authority. If you do not have access to      procurement authority, we can put you in touch with a GSA Federal Acquisition Services for Technology (FAST)      representative who can facilitate your purchase.
   • Your procurement authority develops and issues an RFP.
   • AES, Inc. responds to the RFP.
   • You and your procurement authority evaluate proposals and negotiate with  AES, Inc. as necessary.
   • Your procurement authority issues a task order to AES, Inc.
   • AES, Inc. begins the work.
